MAS90 Level 4.1 SERVICE
PACK 1 has just been released.
Sage Software has announced
the release of Service Pack 1 (SP1) for MAS
90 and 200 version 4.10. SP1 will include a roll-up of
all existing fixes currently available in the program-fix
collection, along with several enhancements
including:
- A
significant redesign of the AR Aged
Invoice report.
- Bank Reconciliation
performance improvements.
- Improved functionality for multipart
printing.
To help streamline the update
process, SP1 has the following installation advantages over the
previous program fix
collection:
- It
uses the same installation interface as the Sage MAS 90 and 200
setup.
- It
warns you of potential overwriting of custom modules during the
Service Pack installation.
Note: The custom modules must conform
to Sage MAS 90 and 200 developer
guidelines.
It
automatically performs library merges.
We are recommending that you do not download and
install the Service Pack until we have had time to test it and
contact each of you regarding your situation. Please read the
attached FAQ's document for more information. Expect to
receive a phone call from Orion on your individual situation
and how we can best approach
installing the Service Pack. For example, some of you have
Extended Solutions from Sage and will need to wait until all testing
has been done on SP1 and Sage has given their approval on installing
SP1 with your particular Sage Enhancement.
*PLEASE NOTE: The 4.1
Service Pack only applies if you are currently on Level 4.1 (for
those of you still waiting to upgrade from Level 3.71 or 4.05, we
will apply the SP1 release as part of your upgrade).
